We follow a group of "monsters", enhanced hybrid creatures created by human scientists in an underground lab as weapons to be used in a worldwide war, as they try to survive after a nuclear catastrophe wiped the surface and destroyed part of the lab.

All of the humans were killed due to the radiations. The "scentists" left are the first two successful experiments, who think of themselves as superior.
Dr. V and his assistant are trying to catch the monsters in order to keep experimenting on them. They know that the surface has become permanently inhabitable, and it's only a matter of time before they all die of starvation, sickness or old age in the lab. Dr. V wishes to as unbearable as possible before they all die to stay entertained. His assistant thinks that he is trying to find a way to survive on the surface.
Two of those monsters are being permanently kept into Dr. V's lab, and he uses them to catch the other monsters to continue his experiments before releasing them again.
The monsters are trying their best to stay together and survive. When Dr. V isn't keeping them in cages, they are roaming "freely" in the lower levels of the lab. Their goal is to reach the surface, but the only exit is through the scientists' hide. The mosnters believe that the scientists are lying to them and that the surface is their salvation.
Due to these creatures being kept underground constantly, the environment is quite unhygienic and degradated. The air is stale and warm, there is little food left and no other living being, animal or vegetal, except them. Due to them being designed as living weapons, they are highly resistant.
CHARACTERS
Okultra
Okultra is a hybrid made from a marten and a bat. He is Tomcat's best friend. He is the only one Dr. V hasn't experimented on yet, and he fears the day the scientist takes an interest in him.
He is the most reasonable of the group. Extremly nervous and protective, he is very cautious when the group moves.
His name is a Will Wood reference
Tomcat
Okultra is the one Dr. V experimented the most on, so much that everyone lost track of what he is composed of. The best guesses are that he is at least part deer and part dhole. During these experiments, he has lost the ability to talk. He is Okultra's best friend.
Despite the situation, Tomcat is very mischievious ans playful. Okultra sometimes has difficulties with canalizing his energy.
His name is a Will Wood reference.
Marsha
Marsha, previously known as M2, used to be Dr. V's assistant before helping the other escaping his lab. She used to believe that Dr. V was trying to find a way to make it back to the surface, until EXP-2's supposed death, where she realized he was lying.
She is a giraffe and bat hybrid.
Her name is a Will Wood reference.
EXP-1 and EXP-3
EXP-1 and EXP-3 are lab rats turned monsters because of the radiations. Since they were in the scientists' hide from the beginning, Dr. V experimented on them first, bofore they escaped and found the other monsters.
EXP-2 died during those experiments.
Toxyk
Toxyk is one of the test subjects kept by Dr. V. Due to the scientist's experiments and the radiations, he developped strange and powerful capacities : the ability to breathe fire and the possession of corrosive blood. He is considered part bat and part wyvern.
He is unstable because of the radiations and the experiments. He is conscious that he has the potential to be extremly dangerous, but wishes to be harmless. He obeys Dr. V's order because he is afraid of what he might do to him if he disobeys.
Dr. V
Dr. V was known as Experiment V, the first successful experiment. He was made by fusing human DNA with that of a fox for its cunningness and an axolotl for its regeneration capacities.
Now that the planet has been wiped out, he deos not sees the point in living anymore, and pain is the only thing that gives him a sense of being alive. However, because he is part axolotl, his regeneration capacities have been greatly enhanced and he cannot get hurt. SO instead, he experiments on others for his own amusement, telling his assistant, whom he despise, that he is trying to find a way to live on the surface again.
Dr. V's assistant
Dr. V's assistant, nicknamed W, was the second "successful" experiment. He was made part wolf, for its tenacity, part snake, for its stealth, and part chameleon, for its camouflage abilities. He is very discreet and was the one to go look for the other monsters, before Dr. V caught two monsters permanently to use them as test subjects.
Deep down he enjoys hunting the monsters more than he enjoys the experiments.
EXP-2
Contrary to what was believed, EXP-2 did not die. He mutated horribly after Dr. V's experiments and had to be contained separately. As Dr. V never talked about this, everyone else assumed it was dead.
The second test subject
The second test subject, unnamed for now, is not yet ready, according to Dr. V. he is part shark and cannot leave water yet. He apparently also lost the ability to speak because of the experiments.
LOCATIONS
The Lab
The Lab is a large underground facility made by humans in order to experiment and create new, perfected living beings who could be used as war weapons. They were designed to have enhanced animal abilities while retaining human speech and movement. All of the humans died during the nuclear catastrophe, and the lab is the home of Dr. V's "experients".
The scientists' hide
The scientists' hide is where the scientists live. It is a room filled with scientific equipment that leads to the only exit towards the surface.
